Section 2.3 Starting Your Beehive

This is the 6th webinar in our Academy Webinar series. Mark Williams is joined by Senior Contributor and PerfectBee Ambassador Ron Lane to discuss the many aspects of starting your first hives.

We start by discussing the preparations to consider before installing your hives. We then move to the options available for obtaining your bees, such as a package of bees, the nuc and even a swarm.

Then we go drill into that wonderful time when you install your first bees into their new home.

Finally, when you have your bees installed, we’ll walk you through that important first inspection.
